“This box is a self-locking capsule for personal relics, designed to be bequeathed and inherited. Once it is closed, the object is locked inside for many years. During this time, the box counts down to the moment it will reopen. When touched, the number of seconds remaining is displayed on an LCD through a two-way mirror. The box relies on its current owner to stay powered — it must be shaken once a month in order to charge by magnetic induction. If not cared for, the countdown pauses, resuming once it is recharged. Once opened, it is resealable.”
Are you sick of me posting things about dinosuars yet? I’m not!

I was recently informed about Jellyfish Lake (pictured above). At one time it was connected to the ocean but since has closed off trapping jellyfish in the lake. Since they have no predators their stinging cells have gotten so tiny that humans can now swim with the animals.
So amazing. I want to swim with the Jellies!
Teacups!!
Court & Anj took a trip to Disney Land (and of course wore matching outfits everyday). Adorable.
I love The Uniform Project. As an excercise in sustainable fashion, Sheena Matheiken is wearing one dress for 365 days. So far, I’m kind of addicted to the site. The outfit permutations Sheena comes up with are pretty impressive and much more chic than what I wear on a daily basis.
But doesn’t this particular outfit seem a bit like cheating? She’s wearing a whole other dress under her uniform dress. And still, it’s admittedly cuter than most of the things that I own. But now I expect more. As @audrabrookie put it:
“She could just tie that little uniform around her wrist and wear it as a bracelet too.”
Yes, i too have been very interested in this when a link was forwarded to me a couple weeks ago….
It’s very interesting / cool / lovely.
